This guide will walk you through how to control your Rockville Mini RF4 V2 lights using the Rockville Par-Control App on your smartphone or tablet. These instructions are easy to follow—even if you're not tech-savvy. All you need is an Android or Apple iOS device with the Rockville Par-Control App installed. No extra hardware or complicated setup required. You'll learn how to download and open the Par-Control app, link your Mini RF4 V2 lights together using Master/Slave mode, and connect your phone to the lights over Wi-Fi. Setup Guide
A.) Download & Install the App
- Apple iOS Device → Par-Control App from Apple App Store
- Android Device → Par-Control App from Google Play Store
- Install the app on your Android or iOS device.
B.) Set the Light to App Mode
- Press the Mode button until you see AP1, AP2, AP3 or AP4.
- Use the Up / Down buttons to select one of four App Groups.

Press Enter to see the 3-Digit UID, or Unique Identification Number (example shown below).
⚠️The UID on your light will likely be different. - Make note of the UID as it will be used for connecting your smartphone or table.
C.) Connect Your Phone to the Light’s WiFi
- Open your smartphone or tablet’s WiFi settings and activate Wifi, if not already active.
- You should be able to find and connect to a WiFi network labeled Rockville-UID, but with your actual Unique ID.
- For the example above, the WiFi network would appear on your smartphone or tablet as shown below.
- Connecting to this network enables control using the Rockville Par-Control App.
- If prompted, select Always Connect.

- Press Enter on the light again to stay in app mode.
D.) Open the App and Select a Group
- Open the Rockville Par-Control App.
- Note the four buttons toward the bottom of the screen labeled; 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- These correspond to the Mini RF4 V2's four App Groups; AP1, AP2, AP3 and AP4.
- Select the App Group that corresponds to the Mini RF4 V2 light(s) you wish to control.

E.) Controlling Multiple Lights

Linking Multiple Lights:
⚠️Be sure to check Network Settings periodically, as Rockville-UID WiFi may need to be reconnected.- Set all lights to the same Wireless DMX Code.
- Press the Mode button until you see 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 or oFF with the corresponding Wireless Group ID color.
- Use the Up or Down button to set all lights to the same Wireless Group ID # / color.
- Press the Mode button until you see 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 or oFF with the corresponding Wireless Group ID color.
- On the first (main/master) light only, set Master Mode to ON.
- Press the Mode button until you see MASTER on or MASTER oFF.
- If you see MASTER oFF, use the Up or Down button to select MASTER on.

- On all additional (slave) lights, set Master Mode to OFF.

My phone won't stay connected to the light’s Wi-Fi. What should I do?
✅Recheck the Wi-Fi settings and reconnect to the correct Rockville network.
✅If the light disconnects after cycling modes, simply reconnect.
Why aren’t all lights responding to the app?
✅Ensure only main / master light has Master Mode set to on.
✅Ensure all additional / slave lights have Master Mode set to off.
✅Ensure all lights are assigned to the correct APP Group.
