How to Use the Rock Force W-4
1. Connecting Wireless DMX Lights
- Turn on wireless DMX on the Rock Force W-4 using the switch.
- Select a fixture button (e.g., Scanner 1/13) to assign a wireless DMX light.
- Turn on the wireless DMX light and set its address to 001 (or your chosen DMX start address).
- Sync the colors between the controller and the light (e.g., select purple).
- Once the connection is established, the light will flash to indicate a successful sync.
- Now, move the faders to adjust different color channels in real-time.
2. Programming Scenes
- Press the Program button.
- Select a color or effect using the faders.
- Press MIDI Add, then press Scene 1 (this stores the scene).
- Repeat the process to save additional scenes (e.g., Scene 2 for multi-color, Scene 3 for blue).
- Exit Program Mode and cycle through scenes using the Scene buttons.
3. Creating a Chase Sequence
- Press Chase 1 to start programming a chase sequence.
- Select Scene 1, press MIDI Add to add it to the chase.
- Select Scene 3, press MIDI Add to add it next.
- Select Scene 2, press MIDI Add to complete the sequence.
- Exit Program Mode, then press Chase 1 and Auto to run the chase.
- Adjust speed time and fade time faders to control scene transitions.
