Introduction

The Motion Strip Motorized Moving Headlight Bar allows you to control multiple lights without using a DMX controller by utilizing the Master-Slave function. This guide will walk you through the setup process so that all your lights synchronize seamlessly.

What You’ll Need

• Two or more Motion Strip Lights
• DMX Cables (one per additional light)

Step 1: Connecting the Lights with DMX Cables

To link your lights together:

1. Take a DMX cable and plug the male end into the DMX Out on the first light (Master).
2. Take the other end and plug it into the DMX In on the second light (Slave).
3. To connect more lights, repeat this process:
   • Plug a DMX cable into the DMX Out of the second light.
   • Plug the other end into the DMX In of the third light.
   • Continue for as many lights as needed.

Step 2: Setting the DMX Address

For the Master-Slave function to work correctly, all slave lights must have the same DMX address.

1. Choose your Master Light (first light in the chain).
2. On each Slave Light:
   • Set the DMX address to 001.
   • Select either 9-Channel Mode or 38-Channel Mode.
   • Press Enter to confirm.

1. On the Master Light, choose an Auto Mode or Sound Mode.
2. Once set, all connected slave lights will follow the settings of the master light.
