RAMSYS15: How To Set Up & Use

The Rockville RAMSYS15 is a battery-powered PA speaker system that comes with a passive speaker, an active speaker, wireless microphones, stands, and multiple input options. This guide will walk you through assembling, wiring, and using your speaker system, including TWS pairing, microphone setup, and expanding your setup with additional speakers or a mixer.

Step 1: What's Included?

Your RAMSYS15 system comes in three boxes:

• Box 1:

  • ¼" Speaker cable (to link the active and passive speakers)

Step 2: Installing the Batteries in the Microphones

1. Unscrew the battery compartment at the bottom of each microphone.
2. Insert the batteries with the negative (-) side facing up.
3. Screw the battery compartment back on.

3. Use the included ¼" speaker cable to connect the active speaker to the passive speaker.

• Turn the active speaker on using the power switch.
• Charge the speaker using:
  • The included power cable.
  • The 12V and ground terminals (for external battery power).

Step 7: Using the Built-In Wireless Microphones

1. Place the microphones in the built-in holders on the speaker.
2. Press the "VHF Power" button to activate the microphones.
3. Raise the "Mic A" and "Mic B" volume knobs.
4. Turn on the microphone switch and speak into the mic to test.
5. Use the "Echo" knob to add an echo effect.
6. Activate the "Talk Over" button to lower music volume automatically when speaking.

3. Wait for both speakers to connect.
4. Pair your smartphone or tablet with the "RAMSYS15" Bluetooth device.
5. Play music—it will play from both speakers.

Note:

• TWS mode only works for Bluetooth music playback.
• Mic, Line, and RCA inputs do not work over TWS mode.

• Use the "Line Out" (XLR) on the active speaker:
  • Connect to another powered speaker or subwoofer.
  • Use an XLR cable to connect the female end to the Line Out and male end to the input of the additional speaker.

2. Plug the female ends into the XLR outputs of the mixer.
3. Plug the male ends into the Line In of both RAMSYS15 speakers.
