Introduction
The Best PAR 50 is a rechargeable LED PAR can style wash light designed for wall washing, DJ facades, totem stands, truss mounting and stage lighting. It offers multiple control modes, including wireless DMX, sound activation, auto modes, and an IR remote.

Setup Guide
A.) What’s Included
- Best PAR 50 Light (available in black or white)
- IR Remote
- C-Clamp (for truss mounting)
- Power Adapter (for charging and direct AC power connection)
B.) Charging & Powering the Light

Assemble the power adapter:
- Connect the power cable to the power adapter block.
- Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
- Connect the power adapter to the light’s charging port.

Power Adapter LED will indicate when charging / fully charged.
- While charging the power adapter LED will be red.
- Once fully charged the power adapter LED will turn green.

Charging Time:
- A dead battery takes about 6 hours to charge.
-
Battery Life when fully charged:
- The light will last 3 hours minimum (without UV you will get at least 4.5 hours).
Using higher frequency static colors (e.g. violet / white) and color-changing modes will drain the battery much faster. - The light can last up to to 15 hours.
Using lower frequency static colors (e.g. red / green) will drain the battery much slower.
- The light will last 3 hours minimum (without UV you will get at least 4.5 hours).
C.) Positioning & Mounting Options
Wall Washing (Up-lighting):
- Place the light directly on the floor flush against the wall so the light is shining upwards.
- Or place the light several inches away angled toward the wall; using the built-in leg stand.
- The light’s angle can be adjusted to achieve your desired wall washing effect.
- Select your preferred color or mode / setting.
Lighting a DJ Façade:
- Position the light flush against the façade or use the leg stand to angle it.
- Use one light per façade panel to evenly light the facade.
Lighting a Totem Stand:
- Lift the scrim of your totem stand.
- Place the Best PAR 50 inside, facing upwards.
- Set your desired color or mode on the light.
- Lower the scrim back down.
Truss / Pole Mounting:
Included C-Clamp needed for this.
- Remove the nut on the bottom of the bolt from the C-Clamp.
- Keep both washers at the top of the bolt.
- Align the nut with the groove on the light so the nut sits in the groove.
- Insert the bolt through the hole and tighten it to securely attach the C-Clamp.
Tighten carefully to avoid cross-threading. - Loosen the clamp’s butterfly bolt (wing nut) until wider than your truss / pole diameter.
- Position the clamp on your truss or lighting / speaker stand pole.
- Tighten the butterfly screw (wing nut) to lock the light in place.
D.) Navigating Light Modes
Use the buttons below the LCD display to toggle through settings:
- MODE – Cycle through menus.
- UP / DOWN – Adjust values / settings for menu options.

- Color Change: CC01 ~ CC99

- Press ENTER and then UP / DOWN buttons to modify speed (for Color Change, Color Fade, Color Pulse and Strobe)

Manual Color Blending:
- Press the MODE button until you find the base color you'd like to start with (see chart below):
- Red: r000 ~ r255
- Green: G000 ~ G255
- Blue: b000 ~ b255
- White: W000 ~ W255
- Yellow / Amber: y000 ~ y255
- Purple / Ultraviolet: P000 ~ P255.
- Press ENTER and then UP / DOWN buttons to modify the setting.
- Press ENTER to save.
- Repeat for each additional base color you'd like to add to your color blend.

Set the WIRELESS DMX SIGNAL Code on the lights.
- Locate the WIRELESS DMX SIGNAL button on the back of the Best PAR 50.
- Press the button to cycle through different colors on the WIRELESS DMX SIGNAL LED.
- Select a color (e.g. Red).

Set the Wireless DMX Code on the controller or transmitter.
- Locate the Wireless ID button on the back of the controller.

- The controller’s Wireless ID Color Code LED (or DMX-WTR's ID Key LED Indicator) should be flashing red.
- The lights’ WIRELESS DMX SIGNAL LED should be flashing green.

- Raising Fader 1 increases overall brightness for color blending and strobe (on Faders 2 - 8).
- Raising Fader 2 increases the Red LED brightness.

Wired DMX Setup:
If preferred, or as a resolution to any wireless DMX issues / interference, wired DMX connection(s) can be used.

Disable Wireless DMX.
- Press the MODE button until you see G on or G of.
- Press ENTER to modify the setting if necessary; using the UP / DOWN buttons.

Connect the controller to the first light.
- Plug a DMX cable (male end) into the DMX OUT port on the controller.
- Connect the female end to the DMX IN port on the nearest light.

- Connect the female end to the DMX IN port on the next nearest light.
- Repeat for additional lights being connected with DMX cable to the controller.

Assign the Master Light.
- Choose which light you want to be the Master:
- This light will control all slave lights in the system.
- It is recommended to use the light that will be easiest to control; either by accessing the buttons / display, or using the IR remote (pointed at the back of the light).

- Press the MODE button until you see CC01 ~ CC99.

- The slave lights will now sync with the master light and follow its settings.

Wired Configuration:
Instructions below and 3-Pin DMX Cable required for each Best PAR 50 Slave light being connected.

Disable Wireless DMX
- Press the MODE button until you see G on ~ G of.
- Press ENTER to modify the setting if necessary; using the UP / DOWN buttons.
- Should be set to G on.
- Press ENTER to save.

Select one Best PAR 50 to be Master.
- This light will control all slave lights in the system.
- It is recommended to use the light that will be easiest to control; either by accessing the buttons / display, or using the IR remote (pointed at the back of the light).

Connect lights using DMX cables
- Plug a DMX cable (male end) into the DMX OUT port on the Master.
- Connect the female end to the DMX IN port on the nearest Best PAR 50 light.
- Plug a DMX cable (male end) into the DMX OUT port on the previously connected Best PAR 50 light (a.k.a. Slave).
- Connect the female end to the DMX IN port on the next Best PAR 50 Slave light.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for additional Best PAR 50 Slave lights.

Set the DMX Address / Channel Mode
- On each light, press the MODE button until you see A001 ~ A255.
- Press ENTER to modify the setting.
- If necessary, use the UP / DOWN buttons to set the address to A001.
- Press ENTER to save.
Using the IR Remote in Master/Slave Mode:
Once the Master/Slave mode is active, you can use the wireless remote to control all synced lights.
- Point IR Remote at Master Light (IR sensor on back near display) to control Best PAR 50 Lights.
- Tip: To avoid sync issues, disable IR control on all Slave Lights.
- Select static colors: Red, Green, Blue, White, Amber, UV.
- Cycle through color variations using Brightness Up / Down buttons.
- Activate preset modes: AUTO, STROBE, FADE, SOUND.
- Adjust effect speeds using Brightness Up / Down buttons.
F.) Wireless IR Remote
IR Remote must be in line of sight with the sensor on the back of the light.
- Ensure the IRCL Mode is ON in the menu.
- Press the Menu button until you see IRCL.
- Use the Up or Down button to set this to ON (if necessary).
- Use the remote to:
- Select Base Colors (Red, Green, Blue, White, Amber, UV).
- Select 9 additional preset colors

G.) Grouping Lights (without DMX or Master/Slave)
Plan Your Light Groups:
Decide how you want to divide your lights.
For example:
- Group 1 → Red lights
- Group 2 → Blue lights
- Group 3 → Sound mode (reacts to music)
Setting Up Group 1 (e.g. Red Lights):
- Turn on the first set of lights.
- On each light, press the MODE button until you see Co01 ~ Co31.
- If you see on Co01 the screen already, you can skip Steps 4 and 5.
- Press ENTER and then UP / DOWN buttons to modify the setting until you see Co01.
- Press ENTER to save the setting.
- Leave the lights on or turn them off.
Setting Up Group 2 (e.g. Blue Lights):
- Turn on the second set of lights.
- On each light, press the MODE button until you see Co01 ~ Co31.
- If you see on Co03 the screen already, you can skip Steps 4 and 5.
- Press ENTER and then UP / DOWN buttons to modify the setting until you see Co03.
- Press ENTER to save the setting.
- Leave the lights on or turn them off.

- Turn on the third set of lights.
- On each light, press the MODE button until you see bEbE.

Verifying Groups:
- Turn all Best PAR 50 lights on (if not already).
- Confirm the lights retained their last saved settings.
- Group 1 → Lights should be Red.
- Group 2 → Lights should be Blue.
- Group 3 → Lights should respond to sound / music.

Q: How do I know if my Best PAR 50 is charging?
✅Ensure the power cable is fully inserted into the charging adapter.
✅Confirm that the charging adapter is plugged into a functioning AC outlet or power strip.
✅The power adapter LED will be red while charging, and green when fully charged.
Q: My lights are not responding to wireless DMX controller commands.
✅Ensure the lights and controller are set to the same wireless DMX color group.
✅Confirm the lights are set to the correct DMX Address and Channel Mode.
Q: My Slave lights aren’t following my Master light. Why?
✅Confirm all lights connected are the same Best PAR 50 light.
Please Note: The Master/Slave setup not work with lights of any other model or manufacturer.
✅Ensure all lights are set to (DMX Address / Channel Mode) A001.
✅For wireless setup; The WIRELESS DMX SIGNAL colors should match on the Master and Slave lights.
✅For wired setup; 3-Pin DMX Cable should be used.
✅For wired setup; The Master's DMX OUT port should be connected to another light's DMX IN port.
✅For wired setup; Each Slave connected should have two cables plugged in it except the last.
