Introduction

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of setting up your Rockville UT525B 5.25-inch Roll Bar Swivel Mount Speakers. These speakers are designed for ATVs, UTVs, off-road vehicles, and boats, featuring 360-degree swivel brackets for flexible positioning and optimal sound.

We’ll cover mounting the speakers, securing them to your roll bar, and wiring them to an amplifier.

What’s Included

• 2 UT525B Speakers
• 2 Non-slip rubber pads (to prevent slipping on bars)
• Rubber strips (for a secure fit)
• 4 x 1.75-inch mounting rings
• 4 x 2-inch mounting rings
• 4 washers, 4 nuts, and 4 screws
• Allen key (for swivel mount adjustments)

Step 1: Mounting the Speakers to a Roll Bar

Adjusting the Swivel Brackets

1. Loosen the two outer screws on the bracket using the Allen key.
2. Loosen the middle screw to adjust the bracket.
3. Rotate the bracket until the holes align with the holes on the speaker.
4. Reinsert and tighten the screws to lock the speaker in place.

Attaching the Non-Slip Rubber Pad

1. Peel off the adhesive backing of the rubber pad.
2. Place it on top of the swivel bracket to prevent slipping.

Choosing the Right Mounting Rings

• 1.75-inch rings for smaller bars.
• 2-inch rings for larger bars.
• Use rubber strips inside the rings for a snug fit.
• If one strip isn’t enough, stack multiple rubber strips.

Securing the Speakers to the Bar

1. Place the rings onto the roll bar where you want the speakers mounted.
2. Slide the rings onto the bracket so that the holes align.
3. Insert the screws through the rings and bracket, then add washers.
4. Screw the nuts onto the screws and tighten them.
   • The grooves on the back of the rings will hold the nuts in place as you tighten.
