Step 1: Understanding 70V & 8-Ohm Settings

These speakers have two operating modes:

1. 70V/100V Mode:
   • Uses a built-in transformer to pull a fixed amount of wattage from a 70V or 100V amplifier.
   • Allows parallel wiring, meaning multiple speakers can be daisy-chained together.
   • Tap settings for WET-7020:
     • 2.5W, 5W, 10W, 20W
   • Tap settings for WET-6525:
     • 3.75W, 7.5W, 15W, 30W
   • Example: If 10 speakers are tapped at 10W each, you need an amplifier that can deliver at least 100W.
2. 8-Ohm Mode:
   • Bypasses the transformer to function as a regular passive speaker.
   • Connects to standard home theater receivers, stereo amplifiers, or powered subwoofers.

Step 2: Selecting & Wiring Your Speaker Mode

For 70V/100V Systems

1. Set the Tap Selector to the desired wattage (e.g., 10W).
2. Connect Speaker Wire:
   • Red wire → Positive (+) terminal.
   • Black wire → Negative (-) terminal.
3. Parallel Wiring:
   • Connect positive to positive and negative to negative throughout your speaker chain.

For 8-Ohm Mode (Home Audio Setup)
