Introduction

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the setup of your Rockville RWB Speaker Series. Whether you have the swivel version or the fixed position version, the installation process is the same. These speakers come in black or white and can be mounted on bars ranging from 1.26 inches to 2.87 inches wide, making them perfect for boats, Jeeps, UTVs, and more.

Step 1: Preparing the Mounting Brackets

1. Remove the long bolts and nuts that hold the bracket together.
2. If you're installing RWB70 or RWB90 speakers, remove the rubber insert to reveal the center bolt.
3. Use a large Allen key to loosen the center bolt if you want to adjust the speaker’s position.
4. The bracket can swivel 360° – adjust it to your preferred angle.
5. Once positioned correctly, tighten the center bolt to lock it in place.

Step 2: Mounting the Speakers on a Bar

6. Repeat this process for the second speaker.

For RWB65 and RWB80 speakers, the bracket is removed from the back of the speaker instead of the side, but the mounting process remains the same.

Step 3: Attaching the Safety Cable

To ensure your speakers stay secure:

1. Wrap the safety cable around the mounting bar.
2. Clip the ends of the cable together.
3. This will keep the speaker attached to the bar even if it comes loose from the bracket.

Step 4: Wiring the Speakers to an Amplifier

1. Take a speaker wire and connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the speaker.
2. Run the other end of the wire to an available channel on your amplifier or head unit speaker outputs.
