STAGE PANEL 864: How To Set Up & Use Master / Slave Mode

Introduction

If you want to synchronize multiple Stage Panel 864 lights without using a DMX controller, you can use the Master-Slave function. This allows one light to act as the Master, controlling all connected Slave lights in the chain.

What You’ll Need

• Two or more Stage Panel 864 lights
• DMX Cables (one per additional light)

Step 1: Connecting the Lights

1. Choose the Master Light – This will be the main control light.
2. Take a DMX cable and plug the male end into the DMX Out on the Master light.
3. Plug the other end into the DMX In on the first Slave light.
4. To add more Slave lights, repeat the process:
   • Plug a DMX cable into the DMX Out of the first Slave light.
   • Plug the other end into the DMX In of the next Slave light.
   • Continue this process for all additional lights.

Step 2: Setting the DMX Address

1. On each Slave light, set the DMX address to A001 to match the Master light.

Step 3: Setting the Mode on the Master Light

1. Select a lighting sequence, color mode, or effect on the Master light.
2. Adjust the speed, brightness, and other settings as needed.
3. All Slave lights will mirror the settings of the Master light.
