A.) Unpacking and Understanding the Components
Inside the box, you’ll find:

B.) Charging the Light
- Flip the battery switch on the back to enable charging mode.
- Ensure the main power switch is turned off while charging.
- Plug the power cable into the power input on the light.
- Plug the other end into a power outlet.
- The LED indicator on the back should then turn red, showing that the light is charging.
Charging Time & Battery Life
- Full charge time: Up to 6 hours (if the battery is completely dead)

Battery runtime: 5 to 18 hours on a full charge (depending on the mode and brightness level)
- Using lower frequency static colors (e.g. red / green) will drain the battery much slower.
- Using higher frequency static colors (e.g. violet / white) and color-changing modes will drain the battery much faster.
Daisy-Chaining for Charging
- The power out port allows you to daisy-chain multiple lights, charging them all from a single power source.
C.) Installing the Wireless DMX Antenna
This enables wireless control via a wireless DMX controller as well as wireless Master/Slave linking.
- Locate the wireless DMX port on the back of the light.
- Screw in the wireless DMX antenna.
D.) Mounting & Placement Options
Floor Placement (Wall Washing & DJ Facades)

Attach the Mounting Feet:
- Take one washer and insert it onto the screw.
- Insert the screw into the mounting foot hole.
- Add another washer on the other side.
- Align the screw with the middle hole on the side of the light.
- Tighten the screw knob to secure it.
- Repeat for the other mounting foot.

Positioning for Wall Washing:
- Place the light flush against the wall for maximum brightness / intensity.
- Alternatively, angle the light slightly away from the wall for a wider, softer effect.

Positioning for DJ Facades:
- Place the light inside the DJ facade to illuminate it.
- Use multiple lights to cover larger facades.
Truss / Pole Mounting
To mount the Best Strip 60 on a truss, speaker stand pole or other available surface, you’ll need a pair of lighting clamps (e.g., Rockville LC70: Heavy Duty C-Clamps 2-Pack).

Attach the Lighting Clamps:
- Remove the hex-bolt from lighting clamp.
- Align the hole in the clamp (where you just removed the bolt) with the mounting foot hole.
- Insert the bolt through both holes.
- Tighten the bolt to secure the clamp.
- Repeat these steps for the other foot / clamp.

Mount the Light on a Truss:
- Loosen the butterfly screws on both clamps.
- Align the clamps with available space on your truss, speaker stand pole or other useable surface.
- Tighten the butterfly screws to secure the light in place.
E.) Navigating the Menus
- Turn on the light using the POWER switch on the back.
- Use the LCD screen and buttons to adjust settings:
- UP / DOWN: Navigate through menu options or adjust values.
- ENTER: Select or adjust settings.
- MENU: Go back to previous page.

F.) Controlling Lights with DMX
Wireless DMX Setup:
Rockville Wireless DMX Controller (RockForce W2 / RockForce W4) or Wireless DMX Transmitter (DMX-WTR) connected to any DMX controller (or computer control interface) required.

Activate Wireless DMX Mode
- Turn On the WIRELESS DMX switch on the back of the light.
- The WIRELESS DMX CODE LED will light up.

Pair with a Wireless DMX Controller or Transmitter
- Turn on the DMX controller / Connect transmitter to AC power.
- If using a Rockville Wireless DMX Controller (if not skip to Step 3):
- Activate wireless DMX on the back of the controller.
- Skip Step 3.
- If using Rockville DMX-WTR connected to DMX controller or software interface output:
- Using its included AC power adapter; provide power to the wireless DMX transmitter.
- Plug the transmitter into a 3-pin DMX output (from DMX controller/interface or another light).
- Set the controller or transmitter to the desired RF group color (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue).
- Set the WIRELESS DMX CODE on each Best Strip 60 to the same color.
- Once the WIRELESS DMX CODE LED on the lights flickers green, the lights are synced.

- Connect a DMX cable from the controller's DMX OUT port to the first light's DMX IN port.
- For additional lights, connect a DMX cable from the DMX OUT port on the previously connected light, to the DMX IN port on another light.
- Repeat this process for each light being connected with DMX cable to the controller.

Wireless Master/Slave Setup:

Ensure all Best Strip 60 Lights are set to the same DMX Address

Select Master and Activate Wireless DMX
It is recommended to use the light that will be easiest to control; either by accessing the buttons / display, or using the IR remote (pointed at the back of the light).- Turn On the WIRELESS DMX switch on the back of the light.
- Set the WIRELESS DMX CODE to the desired RF group color (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue).

Activate Wireless DMX on Slave Lights
- Turn On the WIRELESS DMX switch on the back of the other Best Strip 60 light(s).
- Set the WIRELESS DMX CODE to the same RF group color as the Master.
- Set the Master light to any color or mode.
- Once connected the Master should have a Red flashing LED indicator, and the Slave(s) a Green flashing LED indicator.

The Master controls Slaves automatically
- Settings can be selected manually on Master Light to control all Best Strip 60 Slave Lights.
- IR Remote can also be pointed at Master Light (IR sensor on back near display) to control Best Strip 60 Lights.
- Please note: If pointing the remote at a Slave Light, it may respond independently.
- To prevent this, disable Infrared (IR) mode on each Slave Light:
- Use the UP / DOWN buttons to navigate to the Set menu.
- Press ENTER to access the menu.
- Use the UP / DOWN buttons to navigate to the Infrared menu.
- Use the UP / DOWN buttons to choose Off.
- Press ENTER to save.

- For additional Best Strip 60 lights (Slaves); connect the DMX OUT of the previously connected light to the DMX IN on another Best Strip 60 (Slave).
- Repeat the previous step for additional Best Strip 60 Slave Lights..
- Set all lights to the same DMX address.
- Use the UP / DOWN buttons to navigate to the Dmx512 menu.
- Press ENTER to access the menu.
- Use the UP / DOWN buttons to set the address to A001.
- Press ENTER to save.
- Master’s settings will automatically control all connected slave lights.

The wireless IR Remote allows you to:

- Select static colors (Red, Green, Blue, White, Amber, UV).
- Activate Auto Color, Strobe, Fade and Sound modes.
- Use Brightness to control LED intensity / brightness, speed and sensitivity.

- If using wireless setup:
- Ensure all lights are set to the correct DMX Address and Channel Mode as per DMX controller setup.
- Make sure wireless DMX is enabled on all lights.
- Check if the WIRELESS DMX code on all lights matches the Wireless DMX Channel color on the controller or transmitter.
- If using wired setup:
