RWSG4: How To Set Up & Install

Introduction

The Rockville RWSG4 is a universal marine receiver splash guard housing case designed to protect your marine or regular head unit from water, dirt, and other elements. It is available in Black and White and fits most single-DIN head units.

This guide will walk you through the installation process, ensuring your head unit is secure and well-protected.

• Four Screws (for mounting)
• Rubber Gasket (for sealing)

Step 1: Installing the Rubber Gasket

1. Remove the rubber gasket from the back of the case.
2. Peel off the adhesive backing from the gasket.
3. Reattach the gasket to the back of the case, ensuring a tight seal.

Step 2: Preparing the Case for Your Head Unit

1. Remove the front panel of the case to access the mounting screw holes.
2. Ensure your head unit fits inside the case:
   • Minimum dimensions: 1.9 inches high x 7 inches wide
   • Must include a bracket piece to secure the unit.

Step 3: Installing the Head Unit

1. Insert the bracket piece through the opening of the case.
2. Use a flat-head screwdriver to bend the tabs of the bracket upwards.
   • This keeps the bracket firmly in place inside the case.
3. Slide the head unit through the bracket until it fits snugly.
4. Push in the side tabs of the bracket to secure the head unit in place.

Step 4: Mounting the Case in Your Vehicle

1. Check that your mounting location can accommodate the case.
2. Align the case inside your vehicle or fairing.
3. Use the four included screws to secure the case through the mounting holes.

Step 5: Securing the Front Panel & Cover

1. Reattach the front panel until it clicks into place.
2. Close the front cover to protect the head unit from water, dirt, and debris.
