Step 1: Installing the Rubber Gasket
- Remove the rubber gasket from the back of the case.
- Peel off the adhesive backing from the gasket.
- Reattach the gasket to the back of the case, ensuring a tight seal.
Step 2: Preparing the Case for Your Head Unit
- Remove the front panel of the case to access the mounting screw holes.
- Ensure your head unit fits inside the case:
- Minimum dimensions: 1.9 inches high x 7 inches wide
- Must include a bracket piece to secure the unit.
Step 3: Installing the Head Unit
- Insert the bracket piece through the opening of the case.
- Use a flat-head screwdriver to bend the tabs of the bracket upwards.
- This keeps the bracket firmly in place inside the case.
- Slide the head unit through the bracket until it fits snugly.
- Push in the side tabs of the bracket to secure the head unit in place.
Step 4: Mounting the Case in Your Vehicle
- Check that your mounting location can accommodate the case.
- Align the case inside your vehicle or fairing.
- Use the four included screws to secure the case through the mounting holes.
Step 5: Securing the Front Panel & Cover
- Reattach the front panel until it clicks into place.
- Close the front cover to protect the head unit from water, dirt, and debris.
