ELITE PARTY 5: How To Set Up & Use

Requirements:

• Rockville Elite Party 5 speaker
• USB-C Power Block and Cable
• 3.5mm Aux Cable
• Bluetooth-Enabled Device (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.)
• Microphone and/or Guitar (optional for performance setup)
• 35mm Speaker Stand (optional for mounting the speaker)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Unbox and Set Up Your Speaker

• Included in the Box:
  • Elite Party 5 Speaker
  • USB-C Power Block and Cable for charging
  • 3.5mm Aux Cable for connecting additional audio devices
  • 35mm Speaker Pole Mount for stand mounting

2. Positioning the Speaker

• The speaker can be set up in several ways:
  • Stand it upright using the feet on the bottom of the speaker.
  • Lay it down horizontally using the side feet.
  • Mount it on a speaker stand by using the 35mm pole mount on the bottom of the speaker.

3. Powering On the Speaker

• To turn on the speaker, press and hold the Power button on the top until the LED lights on the front of the speaker illuminate.
• The speaker also features various LED light modes, which you can cycle through by pressing the LED button, or hold the button to turn the LEDs off completely..

4. Adjusting Volume

• Volume Control: The central Volume wheel controls the output volume of the speaker.
  • It also functions as a pause/play button when pressed.

5. Bluetooth Pairing

• The Elite Party 5 is set to Bluetooth mode by default upon powering on.
• To pair a Bluetooth device, go to your device's Bluetooth settings and select “Elite Party 5”. Once connected, you’ll hear a confirmation sound.

6. Microphone and Guitar Setup

• Microphone:
  • Connect a dynamic microphone to the quarter-inch Microphone input on the back of the speaker using an XLR-to-quarter-inch cable.
  • Adjust the microphone volume using the Microphone volume knob; small knob right next to the  quarter-inch Microphone input.
  • Use the Microphone button to activate Mic Priority mode (lowers music volume while speaking into the mic) or to add microphone effects.
    • Press the Microphone button quickly to activate Mic Priority mode. 
• Guitar:
  • Connect your guitar to the quarter-inch Guitar input on the back of the speaker.
  • Adjust the guitar's volume using the Guitar volume knob; small knob right next to the quarter-inch Guitar input.

7. Using Effects for Microphone or Guitar

• To add an echo effect to your microphone or guitar:
  • Hold the Microphone button for a few seconds to activate the Echo Effect.
  • Use the Echo +/- button to adjust how much of the Echo Effect is heard. 

8. Wirelessly Connecting an Additional Elite Party 5 Speaker (TWS Mode)

• You can link two Elite Party 5 speakers using True Wireless Stereo (TWS) mode:
  • Turn on both speakers and make sure they are not connected to a Bluetooth device already.
  • Find the Bluetooth button on one speaker and double-click it to link the two speakers.
  • Once linked, pair your Bluetooth device to play music through both speakers simultaneously.

9. Using the AUX Inputs

• Connect any device with a 3.5mm (headphone jack) audio output to the AUX input on the back of the speaker using the provided AUX cable.
• The speaker also has an AUX output, allowing you to connect additional speakers for an expanded sound system.

Q: My Bluetooth device won't connect to the speaker.

• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, and that the speaker is not already connected to another Bluetooth device. If the issue persists, try resetting the speaker using the Reset Button.

Q: The volume from my microphone is too low.

• Ensure the Microphone volume knob is turned up and that your cable is properly connected and functional. If playing music, you can active the Mic Priority mode. If not playing music, you can active the Boost button.

Q: The LED lights aren't working.

• The LEDs can be turned off, by hold down the LED button for a few seconds. Press the LED button to cycle through the available lighting modes.
