Step A: Connect the R-Track 2x2 to Your PC

Plug in the USB Cable:
- Take the included USB-C cable and plug the USB-C end into the R-Track 2x2.
- Plug the other end, the USB-A end, into an available USB-A port on your computer.

Install the Drivers:
- Go to the Downloads tab on the R-Track 2x2 support page.
- Download the drivers for your interface.
- Once downloaded, open your Downloads folder, double-click the driver file, and run the installer.
- If you receive a prompt, click Run Anyway, then Yes when prompted by the installation window.
- Click Install, and once done, click Finish to complete the installation.
Step B: Configure Sound Settings on Your PC
- Set Output and Input Devices:
- Open your Sound Settings on your PC.
- Under the Output section, click the dropdown menu and select R USB ASIO. This sets the R-Track 2x2 as the output device for your PC audio.
- Under the Input section, do the same and select R USB ASIO as the input device.
Step C: Configure Your DAW (e.g., Audacity)
- Set Input and Output in DAW:
- Open your DAW (we’ll use Audacity as an example).
- In Audacity, look for the speaker icon to set the output device.
- Click the dropdown and select R USB ASIO as your output device.
- Similarly, set the input device to R USB ASIO by selecting it in the input dropdown.
Step D: Start Recording
- Once your input and output devices are configured, you're ready to record! The interface is now set up to work with your PC, and you're ready to start capturing audio directly into your DAW.
No Driver Required for Mac

Step A: Connect the R-Track 2x2 to Your Mac

Use the Included USB Cable:
- Plug the USB-C end of the cable into the R-Track 2x2 interface.
- If needed, use an adapter to convert the USB-C to USB-A.
- Plug the USB-A end into your Mac.
Step B: Set Up the Audio Input and Output

Open Sound Preferences:
- Go to System Preferences on your Mac.
- Click on Sound to open the sound settings.

Set the Output Device:
- In the Output section, look for R USB ASIO (this is the R-Track 2x2 interface).
- Select it as the output device. This will send all audio from your Mac to the interface, allowing it to play through your connected speakers.

Set the Input Device:
- In the Input section, select R USB ASIO to set the interface as the input device.
- This will ensure that any microphones or instruments plugged into the interface are recognized by your Mac.
Step C: Set Up Your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
- Make sure to set the R-Track 2x2 as the input and output device within your DAW (e.g., Pro Tools, GarageBand, Logic, etc.). This ensures seamless integration with your recording software.
Step D: Start Recording
- Once your input and output devices are configured, you're ready to record! The interface is now set up to work with your Mac, and you're ready to start capturing audio directly into your DAW.
