Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1:
- Take 2 Wheels (1 w/ Brake) and 1 Base Beam.
- Screw each Wheel onto either side of the Base Beam.
- Repeat this process with the other 2 Wheels and Base Beam.
Step 2:
- Take the Upright Rails, 4 Short Bolts, 4 Washers and the Allen Key.
- Make sure the inside of the Upright Rails lines up with the inside of the Base Beams.
- Line up the holes at the bottom of the Upright Rails with the holes on the top of the Base Beams.
- Secure the Upright Rails to the Base Beam with 2 Short Bolts and 2 Washers; tightening with the Allen Key.
- Repeat this process for the other Upright Rail and Base Beam.
- At this point you should have two matching sets of Upright Rails attached to Base Beams, each with 2 Wheels (1 w/ Brake) attached.
Step 3:
- Take the 4 Connecting Beams and the Allen Key.
- Loosen and remove the Bolts and Washers from each Connecting Beam.
- Run the Bolt through the Washer and Base Beam.
- Align the Base Beams with the Connecting Beams, making sure the grooves line up and connect.
- Tighten the Bolt using the Allen Key to secure the Connecting Beam to the Base Beam.
- Do the same thing on the opposite side.
- Attach 2 more Connecting Beams between the Base Beams the same way.
- Attach 1 more Connecting Beam using the holes near the top of the Upright Rails.
Step 4:
- Take the 2 Top Rails and the remaining Connecting Beam.
- Loosen and remove the Bolts and Washers from the Connecting Beam.
- Align the Connecting Beam with both of the Top Rails, making sure the grooves of the Connecting Beam and Top Rail line up.
- Run the Bolts through the Washers and each of the Top Rails.
- Tighten the Bolt using the Allen Key to secure the Connecting Beam to the Top Rails.
- Flip the top around to reveal the holes on the other ends of the Top Rails.
- Grab the Long Bolts and Washers, and run them though the holes one the end of the Top Rails.
- Grab the Stabilizing Rod, line it up to the Long Bolt and tighten to secure.
- Do the same on the other side of the Stabilizing Rod.
Step 5:
- Align the Top Frame with the Upright Rails.
- You should be able to see 2 holes.
- Grab 2 Small Bolts and Washers.
- Feed the Small Bolts through the Center Hole to secure the Top Platform to the Top Rails.
- Tighten with the Allen Key.
- Take 2 Screw Knobs and screw them into each Side Hole.
- From here the knobs can be used to adjust the angle of the Top Platform.
Step 6:
- Now you can add gear to the rack.
- Grab 2 Rack Cage Nuts (a.k.a. Nut Retainers) from Rack-Mounting Hardware.
- Slide in Rack Cage Nuts along the rails where screws will be inserted for each piece of gear.
- Line up your gear along the spaces and secure with included Rack Screws using a Screwdriver or Drill.
- Follow the same steps to attach Crossbars to the Top Platform.
- Skip the previous step for placing larger gear on top.
Step 7:
- Press down on the Brakes of the wheels to keep the rack in place.
- Lift the Brakes to move the rack.
