RKL65MBW – 6.5˝ 2-way Marine Speakers with LED lights

Installation/Wiring

1.) Determine installation location

2.) Mount the cutting template at the installation location

3.) Use the drill to make the mounting holes, being careful to not rip the template.

4.) Use a utility knife or any other appropriate tool to cut out the mounting hole.

5.) Connect the speaker wires. The left terminal is Negative (-), the right terminal is Positive (+).

5.) Change the speaker’s LED color by using the included jumper(A) to connect the red and black wires (B) for red LED color or the blue and black wires (C) for blue LED color.

7.) Carefully insert the speaker into the opening and use the included mounting screws to secure it.

Speaker/Amplifier Configuration

Make sure that the positive (+) and negative (–) speaker wires are connected to the corresponding terminal on the amp.

Most speaker damage is caused by amplifiers with too much power (wattage).
The proper way to set your gain is to turn your receiver volume to max, and then slowly turn your gain up. The second you hear any slight distortion, turn it down one notch and leave it at that setting. Amps are not meant to be played with the gain up to the max. If this is the case, lower your gain slowly until you hear the amplifier stop clipping.
