LED Controller Wiring Instructions
- Connect the male plug extending from one of the speakers to the female end of one of the cables extending from the controller (a).
- Connect the male end of the included extension cord to the to the female end of the other cable extending from the controller (b).
- Connect the female plug of the extension to the male plug extending from the other speaker (c).
This LED controller module supports LED products that feature common anode connections. The black triangle with the plus sign inside indicates the common connection anode. The peak output current is 4 amps per channel. If the main unit is overheating, please reduce the load.
This unit accepts 5V to 24V power supply. Connect the red cable to the positive (+12V) terminal of your power supply or to an accessory line. Connect the black cable to closest part of the vehicle chassis.
- Use 18 gauge or thicker wire for power and ground connections.
- Anode connection is common positive.
⚠️Caution!
Do not short circuit the led output. Doing so may cause permanent damage!
Remote Control Features
1. Turn On / Standby: Press this key to turn on LEDs or switch to standby mode.
2/9. Dynamic Mode: Switch from dynamic mode to color mode or switch between dynamic modes.
3/8. Dynamic Mode Speed: Use these buttons to adjust dynamic mode speed. If the unit is in static mode, pressing these buttons will switch unit to dynamic mode.
4/5. Static Color Adjust: Use these button to switch between static colors. Pressing these keys while in dynamic mode will switch the unit to static mode.
6/7. Brightness Adjust: Pressing these buttons will adjust brightness while in static mode. If these buttons are pressed while unit is in dynamic mode, it will switch to static mode.
10. Demo Mode button: this button will switch the unit into demo mode. While in demo mode, unit will loop through 17 dynamic modes with each repeating 3 times.
11. Direct Color Select button: press these buttons to select specific static colors. You can also use the Static Color Adjust buttons to select static colors.
⚠️Please remember to remove plastic insulator from remote unit battery compartment to activate.
- This remote uses a 3 volt CR2025 type battery. Replace with the same type of battery.
- The remote signal can pass though most obstacles.
- Don’t install unit in areas surrounded by metal as the remote signal will not reach the unit.
