Smartphone/Tablet Mounting System - Clamps to Stands or Desks

The IPS44 stand/desk mount by Rockville supports most phones and tablets. This mount is made of the same quality materials as our professional microphone stands. It holds screens from 4.7˝ – 12.9˝. This means it will work with iPad, iPad mini, iPad pro, iPhone 6, iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy, and most other tablets and phones. To check if your device is compatible, measure the screen on your device diagonally. If it is within 4.7˝ – 12.9˝ then you are good to go.

The IPS44 can be mounted directly to any microphone stand. The C shaped clamp fits anything 1˝ diameter or smaller. It is fully collapsible for travelling or easy storage. The tablet/phone holder can be oriented horizontally or vertically and it can swivel so as to achieve the best viewing angle.

Clamp Functions

Attaching Tablet/Phone to Holder:

The clamp allows for adjustment of height and angle.

To attach the clamp and adjust the height:

1. To loosen the clamp and open it to its widest position, turn the handle counter clockwise (fig. a).

2. Place the clamp on the mic stand, set to the desired height, and secure the clamp to the mic stand by turning the handle clockwise (fig. b). Do not over tighten.

To adjust the angle and location of the clamp arm:

1. Loosen the locking knob by turning it counter clockwise. Adjust the angle of the arm by turning it clockwise or counter clockwise. You can also adjust the location of the arm by sliding forward or back (fig. c).

2. Once your adjustments are complete, tighten the locking knob by turning it clockwise (fig. d). Do not over tighten.

Attaching the Holder to the Clamp Arm:

1. Tighten the knurled screw until it stops (fig. e).

2. Screw the holder to the threaded pin (fig. f).

3. Now tighten the knurled screw snug to the bottom of the holder (fig. g).

4. Tighten the wing nut at the base of the holder (fig. h). Do not over tighten.

Attaching Tablet/Phone to Holder:

This holder allows for adjustment of size, angle, and orientation. All this can be done without removing the device.

To adjust angle/orientation:

1. With one hand on the holder, loosen the wing nut (fig. i).

2. Tilt the holder to the desired angle (fig. j).

3. Turn the holder to landscape or vertical position (fig. k)

4. Tighten wing nut. Remember, do not over tighten.

To adjust size:

1. Locate the release button on the rear of the holder just to the right of the wing nut (fig. k).

 

2. Push the button down while simultaneously pulling the top and bottom parts of the bracket. Pull slowly and carefully so as not to damage the mechanism. Once you release the button, the holder will remain in the current extended position.
