Step 1: Placement Options
You can position the Motion Strip in multiple ways:
- Against a wall for wall-washing effects
- A few inches away from a wall for indirect illumination
- In front of a stage to face the audience
- Mounted on a truss using the included brackets and clamps
Step 2: Mounting the Light to a Truss
- Assemble the brackets and clamps:
- Take two lighting clamps (e.g., Rockville LC70).
- Unscrew the bolt from each clamp.
- Line up the middle hole of the bracket to the clamp hole.
- Insert the bolt and screw it on securely.
- Repeat for the second clamp.
- Attach the brackets to the light:
- Align the bracket holes with the screw holes on the bottom of the light.
- Insert two screws per side and tighten them securely using a 7/32 Allen key.
- Secure the light to the truss:
- Loosen the butterfly screws on the clamps.
- Position the clamps onto an open space on the truss.
- Tighten the butterfly screws to lock the light in place.
Step 3: Powering and Daisy-Chaining
- Standard Power Connection:
- Plug the three-prong end of the power cable into a wall outlet.
- Plug the other end into the power input on the light.
- Daisy-Chaining Multiple Lights:
- Take an additional power cable.
- Plug the three-prong end into the power out socket of the first light.
- Plug the other end into the power in socket of the next light.
- Repeat for additional lights.

Available Modes
- DMX Modes:

- Angle Adjustment (N Setting):
- Adjusts light tilt angle between 5° - 270°.
- If set to zero, the light will move dynamically in Auto Mode.
- Reverse Motor Spin (RP Setting):

- Plug the male end into the DMX out of the first light.
- Plug the other end into the DMX in on the next light.
