WET PAR PRO: How To Set Up & Use

Introduction

The Rockville Wet Par Pro is a weatherproof LED wash light designed for outdoor use, offering RGBWA+UV color mixing, DMX control, built-in programs, and master/slave functionality. This guide will walk you through powering, mounting, and configuring your light for various applications.

Step 1: Powering the Light

Direct Power Connection

1. Take the PowerCON to three-prong power cable.
2. Align the PowerCON connector to the grooves on the Power In socket.
3. Twist to lock it in place.
4. Plug the three-prong end into a power source.

Daisy-Chaining Power

To power multiple lights from one power source:

1. Use the included PowerCON Link cable.
2. Plug one end into the Power Out socket of the first light.
3. Plug the other end into the Power In socket of the next light.
4. Repeat for additional lights.

Step 2: Mounting the Light

Wall Washing

• Place the light on the floor and use the dual bracket to angle it upwards toward a wall.
• For a more dramatic effect, move the light a few inches away from the wall and angle it toward the surface.

Mounting on a Truss

1. Get a lighting clamp (e.g., Rockville LC70).
2. Remove the bolt from the clamp.
3. Run the bolt through the bracket holes.
4. Reattach the clamp onto the bolt.
5. Loosen the butterfly screw on the clamp.
6. Secure the clamp onto the truss.

Step 3: Using the Built-in Menu

Navigate settings using the buttons under the LED display:

• Menu – Scroll through modes.
• Up/Down – Adjust values.
• Enter – Save changes.

1. Take a DMX cable.
2. Plug the male end into the DMX Out on the controller.
3. Plug the other end into the DMX In on the first light.
4. For additional lights, repeat the process:
   • DMX Out → DMX In on the next light.

Setting Up DMX Control

1. Set the DMX Address:
   • Navigate to A Settings.
   • Set all lights to the same DMX address (e.g., A001).
   • Press Enter to save.
2. Choose a DMX Channel Mode:
   • 6-Channel Mode: Basic RGBWA+UV control.
   • 10-Channel Mode: Full control over color, preset modes, and effects.
   • Press Enter to confirm.

If you don’t want to use a DMX controller, you can synchronize multiple lights using Master-Slave mode.

1. Choose one light as the Master.

   • Plug the other end into the DMX In on the first Slave.
3. For additional Slaves, repeat the process.
4. Set the DMX Address on all Slaves (e.g., A001).

Setting the Master-Slave Mode

• Use the remote to set the Master Light to a preset effect.
• The Slave lights will automatically follow.
• Adjust brightness, speed, and colors on the Master, and Slaves will mirror the settings.
• Disable IRCL on all Slave lights to prevent sync issues.
