M6 Enclosure Mounting Screws

M4 Speaker Mounting Screws

  • #2 Phillips-head Screwdriver

 

Installing the Speaker

  1. Use the internal wires to connect the speaker.   2. Tuck the wires in, then drop the speaker into the pod. Ensure that the speaker’s mounting holes align with the pod’s mounting holes. Use four of the included M4 screws to secure the speaker. Do not overtighten.   3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 to install the passenger side pod.

 

Installing the Kick Pod

  1. Starting at the driver side footwell, remove the factory T40 Torx screw.   2. Place the driver kick pod into location so that the cutout sits properly around the frame tube and both vehicle screw bosses (inset) line up with the kick pod’s mounting brackets.   3. Locate the T40 torx screw previously removed in Step 1. Slide it through the lower kick pod bracket to vehicle panel. Loosely screw into place. Go back and fully tighten the M6 screw you installed in step 2.   4. Connect the radio-style shaved wires to the corresponding speaker outputs of your amplifier using a butt connector with heat shrink or whichever method works best for your install.A technical line drawing labeled with the number 4 in a circle in the top-left corner illustrates speaker wire preparation: Speaker Housing: A partial view of the installed speaker grille and pod housing is shown at the bottom.   5. Repeat steps 1 – 4 to install the passenger side pod.
