Functions
- Channel HIGH & LOW EQ Controls: 2-band equalizer that adjusts high and low frequencies.
- High / Treble: 12kHz ± 15dB
- Low / Bass: 80Hz ± 15dB
- Channel DSP/FX Controls: Controls the amount of signal sent to the built in DSP effects and the EXTERNAL FX LOOP SEND (item 28A).
- Channel Level Controls: This acts as a preamp gain control. Level should be lower than the Master Volume (Item 17).
- Balanced XLR Mic Inputs: Connect a microphone via 3-pin XLR cable.
⚠️ When using condenser microphones, make sure that Phantom power (item 24) is switched on. - ¼˝ Balanced (TRS) Line/High Impedance Input: Used to connect either a high-impedance instrument input or for an electric bass or guitar. It will also allow connection from a mixer, interface or keyboard, as well as other line-level devices such as a cassette player, CD player, video projector or laptop.
- PAD Buttons: Attenuates the input signal by -20dB. Should be used if the incoming input signal is too hot.
- PROGRAM Control: This control allows you to select any one of the 24 preprogrammed digital effects. Rotate to scroll through the effects, push to confirm your selection.
- DSP TO MAIN Control: Controls the level/amount of the effected sound (being sent from ch 1-5 together) that gets blended in the Main Output.
- PARAMETER Control: Adjusts a certain characteristic / variable setting for the selected effect.
- USB/BT DIGITAL CONTROLLER:
- Play/Pause Button: Press during playback to pause, press button again to resume play.
- Stop Button (USB only): Stop playback
- Previous Button: Press to go to the previous track. Press and hold to raise the module's volume.
- Next Button: Press to go to the next track. Press and hold to lower the module's volume.

- USB Port: Inserting a 32GB or less, FAT or FAT32 formatted USB thumb drive will set the RPM47 to USB mode and it will automatically begin to play music.
- USB/BT Level Control: Controls level for digital audio sources.
- PC INTERFACE Port: Use this type B USB port to send audio data between the mixer and a computer or tablet device.
- PHONES Control: Headphone output level control.
- PHONES Output: Connect headphones to this Stereo ¼˝ (TRS) output to monitor the master signal.
- MASTER Volume: Controls overall volume of the mixer.
- Output Level Indicator: This peak level meter is made up of 5 LEDs with 3 colors to indicate the different ranges of signal level. You want your average level to be at 0dB for optimal output and sound clarity.
- Phantom Power ON/OFF Button (red LED indicates power on): When activated, phantom power provides 15 volts DC to power condenser microphones, allowing them to function (while not affecting dynamic microphones). Please advise certain (ribbon) microphones can be damaged if used with phantom power.
- FX LOOP RETURN control: This knob will allow you to adjust the incoming signal from the EXTERNAL FX LOOP RETURN ¼˝ jack on the back of the unit. If you are using external gear, this will allow the adjustment of the signal being returned to blend in with you main mix.
- AUX INPUT LEVEL control
- 7-Band equalizer: Adjusts frequencies ±12dB.
- 32-Bit Dual Engine DSP display: Shows the current digital effect.
⚠️Never unplug or plug in any microphones while phantom power is on. It can cause severe damage to the mic. When phantom power is turned off, it is recommended you wait approximately 7 seconds so as to allow time for the voltage to completely dissipate.
- POWER: ON/OFF Switch
- IEC AC Power Socket: 110-120V 50-60Hz AC voltage required.
- User Serviceable T 4A/250V Fuse (4 Amp 250 Volt 5x20mm Fast Blow Fuse)
- SPEAKER OUTPUT: ¼˝ TS Jacks supports up to two 8-ohm speakers, or a single 4-ohm speaker.
⚠️ Do not operate below rated minimum impedance (i.e. using two 4-ohm speakers). - EXTERNAL FX LOOP SEND/RETURN:
- SEND: This ¼˝ line output allow you to connect a processor like a Gate or compressor or other signal processor to the main mix. You can send the signal from the SEND jack out to the input of the processor device, controlling the amount of signal sent per channel using the channel's individual DSP/FX knob (Item 2). It may also be used connect a powered subwoofer or to send the line signal to another external audio device.
- RETURN: You can then send that signal from the output of the processor device back to the mixer via the 2-conductor ¼˝ line input RETURN jack. For the returns, you can adjust the incoming level with the FX LOOP RTRN knob (Item 20).
- REC OUTPUT: These stereo unbalanced RCA outputs allow you to record the main stereo mix onto a hard disk recorder or CD burner. The rec output is the stereo main mix, and it is not affected by the main mix fader. This output can also be used as an extra set of main outputs for feeding another amplifier.
- AUX INPUT: These stereo unbalanced RCA inputs allow you to connect a CD player, MP3 player, or other line-level source.
