Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Set Up the Facade

• Remove Velcro Strips:

  Start by removing the velcro strips that secure the facade during transport.

• Adjust the Feet:

  The feet are adjustable to ensure the facade remains level on uneven surfaces.

  • To raise the feet: Twist each foot to the left.
  • To lower the feet: Twist each foot to the right.

• Flip the Facade:

  Once the feet are adjusted, flip the facade onto its feet, ensuring it's facing down.

• Unfold the Facade:

  Stretch out the facade by pulling each end apart.

  • Adjust the feet if the facade is uneven.

2. Set Up the DJ Table

• Remove Screws from the Facade:

  Loosen the screws from the facade to prepare for the DJ table attachment.

• Attach the DJ Table:
  • Align the hooks on the DJ table to the holes on the facade.
  • Secure the table by tightening the screws you previously removed.

3. Assemble the Truss Poles

• Attach Side Poles to the Facade:
  • Use the poles with rubber feet and line them up with the hooks on the facade.
  • Secure the poles with black bolts and screw knobs. Ensure the square holes align with the hooks.
• Assemble the Center Pole:
  • Join the two center poles together and secure them using the silver bolt and wing nut.
  • Attach the center pole to the side poles by lining up the openings at the top of each pole and tightening the knobs.

4. Add Scrims

• Choose Scrim Color:

  You have two options: white (to illuminate the facade) or black (for projecting light onto the facade). For this setup, we'll use the white scrim.

• Attach the Scrim:
  • Position the scrim over the top of the facade.
  • Align the corners of the scrim with the inner corners of the facade.
  • Wrap the corners around and secure with velcro.
  • Pull the slack of the scrim tight to eliminate wrinkles.
• For the Bottom of the Scrim:
  • Attach the velcro to the bottom corners, ensuring the scrim fits securely around the facade.

5. Set Up the Second DJ Table

• Attach the Second Table:
  • Attach the second table to the hooks on the facade in the same way as the first table.

6. Mount Lights to the Truss

• Using C-Clamps:
  • Mount your lights, such as the Rockwedge LED, using C-clamps.
  • Secure the clamp to the desired spot on the truss.
• Using Pre-Drilled Holes:
  • Attach lights by placing the mounting hardware through the truss's pre-drilled holes.
  • Secure the lights with bolts and wing nuts.

7. Raise the Truss

• Adjust the Truss Height:
  • Use the knobs on the side poles to lift the truss.
  • Use safety pins to lock the desired height.
  • Tighten the knobs to secure the truss in place.

8. Optional Lighting Techniques

• Wall Wash with White Scrim:

  Use par lights to illuminate the facade by placing them inside and adjusting the light placement.

• Projecting Light with Black Scrim:

  Position your lights further away from the facade and point them directly for a dramatic effect.
