FLX SERIES: How To Customize The Feet

Introduction:
The Rockville Flex Rack Stand offers multiple options for customizing the feet to suit different surfaces, whether you're using it on hardwood floors, carpet, or need more mobility. This guide will walk you through the simple process of switching between rubber feet, caster wheels, and carpet spikes.

Requirements:

• Rockville Flex Rack Stand
• Caster wheels (optional)
• Carpet spikes (optional)
• Rubber feet (optional)
• Allen wrench or tools for tightening

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Remove Existing Rubber Feet (Optional)

• The stand comes with rubber feet for use on hardwood floors or delicate surfaces.
• To remove the rubber feet, simply pull each foot off the tube of the stand.

2. Choose and Attach Your Preferred Feet Option

You have three options for customizing the feet based on the type of surface or mobility you need.

Option 1: Attaching Caster Wheels for Mobility

• Lock the Wheels: Before attaching the caster wheels, we recommend locking each wheel by pressing down on the lock.
• Install the Wheels:
  • Line up the screw of each caster wheel to the screw hole on the tube.
  • Screw the wheel into place. Repeat for the other wheels.
• Using the Caster Wheels:
  • Once all wheels are attached, flip the stand over.
  • To move the stand, lift up on the brake levers to unlock the wheels, then move the stand to your desired location.
  • To lock the stand in place, push down on the brakes of each wheel.

Option 2: Attaching Carpet Spikes for Rug or Carpet Use

• Adjust the Nuts: Before attaching the carpet spikes, lower the attached nuts so they don’t interfere with installation.
• Install the Spikes:
  • Line up the screw of each spike to the screw hole on top of the tube.
  • Screw the spikes into place.
• Adjust the Height of the Spikes:
  • If the stand is uneven, you can adjust the height of the spikes:
    • To lower the spike, loosen the nut and screw the spike further into the tube.
    • To raise the spike, loosen the spike and tighten the nut further down.
  • Adjust all four spikes to ensure the stand is even.

Option 3: Replacing with Rubber Feet

• If you prefer to use the rubber feet instead of caster wheels or carpet spikes:
  • Remove either the spikes or caster wheels if they are attached.
  • Slide the rubber feet back onto the tube ends of the stand.
