Controls & Inputs

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Upon powering on, the speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Please note: if the device is powered on and in another mode, press the Mode button to return to Bluetooth mode. Hold the play button for one second to disconnect current BT device and enter pairing mode.
2. Ensure your device is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable.
3. Under your device’s list of available devices search for and select RPB50. The unit will automatically connect to your device.

⚠️When pairing your Bluetooth device, please make sure the volume on the device is turned up.

Bluetooth Playback

Short press the -/+ buttons to raise or lower the volume. Long press the -/+ buttons to navigate through tracks. Use the Play/Pause button to control playback. You can also control playback from your playback source.

TWS Linking

Please note: Two RPB50 Speakers required for linking.

1. Turn on both units and ensure they are in Bluetooth mode and ready to pair (not connected).
2. Double click the Power button on one of the units. 
   • You will hear an audio prompt indicating the unit has entered TWS pairing mode. 
   • This will be the master unit and control all playback functionality.
   • Upon succesful pairing, you will hear an audio prompt. 
3. Under your Bluetooth device’s list of available devices search for and select RPB50. 
   • The two RPB50 Speakers should now be connected to your device and ready for stereo playback.

Hands-Free Function

• Long press the Play/Pause button to answer or end a call. 
• Double press the Play/Pause button to dial the last called number.

USB/SD

1. Insert Micro SD card or USB flash drive (up to 32GB supported) into the corresponding port at the rear of the unit. 
2. Micro SD card/USB input should be automatically recognized and music will begin to play. 
   • Alternately, you can press the Mode button to select the desired input source.
   • Please refer to the section below for supported file formats.
3. Control audio playback:
   • Short press the -/+ buttons to raise or lower the volume. 
   • Long press the -/+ buttons to navigate through tracks. 
   • Use the Play/Pause button to start and stop audio playback.

For USB Thumb Drive or SD Card Playback on the Rockville RPB50...
Please follow these steps to ensure device compatibility:

1. Insert your 32GB or less(may not be compatible with larger) USB Thumb Drive(available USB port needed) or Micro SD Card(available SD slot or external card reader needed) into a computer.
2. Right-Click: USB Thumb Drive or SD Card Icon
3. Select: Format Device
4. It will ask for Format Type...Select FAT32.
5. Once it is formatted...Make sure all music loaded on is either in MP3 or WAV file format. 

**If not MP3 or WAV File**: 

• (Mac)Look for iTunes MP3 conversion option in dropdown menus.
• (PC)Look for iTunes MP3 conversion software available to download or websites that allow you to upload files to be converted.
   

Aux Input

1. Upon plugging in a 3.5mm jack, the unit will automatically switch to Aux input and begin to play music.
   • Please note: If 3.5mm cable is plugged in prior to turning the unit on, the Mode button will need to be used to select Aux mode.
2. Short press the -/+ buttons for to raise or lower the volume. 
   • Other playback functions can be controlled from your input device.

Charging

The RPB50 uses a 7.4V/4000mAh Lithium-ion battery which supports up to 15 hours playback at 50% volume, 11 hours of playback at 75% volume and 3 hours, 40 minutes of Playback at max volume.

1. Plug the included USB-C cable into the corresponding port on the rear panel.
2. The LED charging indicator will remain red until the unit is fully charged. 
   • Fast charge time is 2 – 3 hours. 
   • Normal charging time is 6 – 8 hours.

LED Lights

1. Press and hold the LED light control button to turn the LEDs ON or OFF.
2. Press the LED light control button to cycle through the 8 LED modes.

Reset

To reset the unit to factory settings, insert a needle or other thin object into the 3.5mm Aux input to press the reset button located inside.
