RF WEDGE: How To Set Up & Use

Introduction

The Rockville RF Wedge Pack is a convenient and portable charging case designed for RF Wedge PAR lights. It includes six pre-loaded RF Wedge lights (available in black or white) and provides easy storage, charging, and transport for your lighting setup.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to set up, charge, and secure your RF Wedge lights using the RF Wedge Pack.

What’s Included?

• RF Wedge Pack case (pre-loaded with six RF Wedge lights)
• Six RF Wedge lights (black or white)
• Six power cables (one for each light)
• Six wireless remotes (to control your lights)

Step 1: Connecting Your Lights for Charging

Each RF Wedge light charges inside the case using the built-in power strip.

1. Take a power cable for each light.
2. Connect the female end of the power cable into the power input socket of the RF Wedge light.
3. Place the light back into its slot inside the case with the power cable attached.
4. Take the male end of the power cable and plug it into one of the available ports on the built-in power strip in the center of the case.
5. Repeat this process for each of the six RF Wedge lights.

Step 2: Powering the Case

Once all lights are plugged in:

1. Take the master power cable.
2. Plug the female end into the power socket on the outside of the case.
3. Plug the other end into a wall power outlet.
4. Flip the power switch next to the external power socket.
5. Look for the charging LED indicator on each light—this confirms that they are charging.

Important Charging Tip

• Always keep the case open while charging to allow for proper ventilation and prevent overheating.

Step 3: Using the Case for Storage

If you’re not using all six lights for a gig, the empty slots in the case can be used for storage. You can safely store:

• Additional lighting equipment

Step 4: Securing Your Lights

Locking the Case

• The butterfly locks on the front of the case securely close the lid.
• Padlock holes next to the butterfly locks allow you to add small padlocks for extra security.

Locking the Wheels

The RF Wedge Pack case includes corner wheels with locking brakes:

1. Press down on the wheel brakes to lock the case in place.
2. This prevents the case from moving while loading or unloading lights.

Step 5: Stacking and Transporting Multiple Cases

The RF Wedge Pack is stackable, making it easy to transport multiple cases together.

How to Stack Cases

1. Place one RF Wedge Pack on top of another.
2. Lock the wheels on the bottom case to stabilize the stack.
3. To move both cases together, release the brakes of the bottom case and push.
