Introduction
The Rockville Battery Strip 24 offers multiple lighting modes, customization options, and DMX control capabilities. This guide will walk you through all the available functions and how to navigate them using the built-in control panel.
Understanding the Controls
Below the display, you'll find the control buttons:
- Menu Button: Cycles through different modes.
- Up / Down Buttons: Adjust settings within each mode.
- Enter Button: Selects a mode and saves changes.
Also included with the Battery Strip 24 is the IR Remote:

1. DMX Address Mode
- Sets a DMX address for the light when connected to a DMX controller.
- Use Up / Down buttons to select an address.
- Press Enter to confirm.
2. DMX Channel Mode
- Determines how much control a DMX controller has over the light.
- The Battery Strip 24 supports 5 different DMX channel modes:
- 6-Channel Mode, 9-Channel Mode, 16-Channel Mode, 30-Channel Mode & 58-Channel Mode
- Higher channel modes give you more control over the light.
- Use Up / Down buttons to select a mode.
- Press Enter to confirm.
3. Master-Slave Mode
- Synchronizes multiple Battery Strip 24 lights without a DMX controller.
- Master Light: Controls all connected lights.
- Slight Light(s): Syncs to modes / functions of Master.
- Slave Mode 1: Default Synchronization
- Slave Mode 2: Alternative Sync Option
- Set one light to Master Mode and others to Slave Mode.
- Press Enter to save settings.
4. Sound Mode
- Activates sound-reactive lighting.
- Adjustable settings:
- Mic Sensitivity (0–99, where 99 is most sensitive)
- Pre-programmed sound patterns (16 options)
- Example:
- Set Mic Sensitivity to 99.
- Set Program to 6.
- Light reacts to claps, music, or other sounds.
5. Auto Mode
- Cycles through 16 pre-programmed chase patterns automatically.
- Press Enter to choose a pattern.
- Use Up/Down to adjust speed.
6. Color Mode
- Select from 15 preset colors.
- Press Enter to pick a color.
- Use Up / Down to cycle through options.
7. Manual Color Blending
- Create custom colors by adjusting the intensity of:
- Red (R)
- Green (G)
- Blue (B)
- White (W)
- Steps:
- Enter Manual Mode (nanu).
- Select a color channel (R, G, B, or W).
- Adjust brightness with Up / Down Buttons.
- Press Enter to save.
- Repeat for each color until you get your desired mix.
8. Display Mode
