Powering On and Basic Controls
Turning the Light On/Off
- Use the On/Off switch on the back panel to power the light.
Navigating the Control Panel
The light’s control panel includes:
- Menu Button – Navigate through different modes.
- Up/Down Buttons – Adjust settings within each mode.
- Enter Button – Save changes and store settings. (The light will remember your last saved setting when powered back on.)
Operating Modes and Functions
1. DMX Address Mode
- Allows you to set the DMX address for DMX controller use.
- Use Up/Down to adjust the DMX address (e.g., A001 to A002, etc.).
2. DMX Channel Mode
- Selects how much control you have over the light via DMX.
- Press Enter, then use Up/Down to choose between:
- 5-Channel Mode
- 14-Channel Mode
- 75-Channel Mode
- Press Enter again to save.
3. Fail Mode (Determines how the light behaves when communication is lost with a wireless DMX controller or remote.)
- Press Enter to choose between:
- Hold – Keeps the last active setting.
- Off – The light will turn off when the signal is lost.
4. Auto Mode (Preset Shows)
- Runs pre-programmed lighting sequences.
- Use Up/Down to select different preset shows.
- Press Enter to adjust speed:
- Use Up to increase speed.
- Use Down to slow it down.
5. Fade Mode
- The light smoothly transitions between colors.
- Use Up/Down to choose different fade patterns.
- Press Enter to adjust fade speed.
6. Strobe Mode
- Activates flashing/strobe effects.
- Use Up/Down to select different strobe styles.
- Press Enter to adjust strobe speed.
7. Sound Mode (Reacts to music beats)
- Press Up/Down to switch between four different sound modes.
- Press Enter to adjust microphone sensitivity:
- Higher sensitivity makes the light respond more to sound.
- Lower sensitivity reduces responsiveness.
8. Manual Mode (Custom Color Mixing)
- Allows custom LED color blending.
- Press Enter to cycle through color adjustments:
- Red LED
- Green LED
- Blue LED
- White Strobe Dimmer
- Warm White Dimmer
- Use Up/Down to increase or decrease intensity for each LED color.
9. 2.4 GHz Mode (Wireless DMX Control)
- Turns wireless DMX on or off.
- If your DMX controller isn’t working, check this setting:
- Press Enter, then Up/Down to switch between On/Off.
10. IRCL Mode (Wireless Remote Control Enable/Disable)
- Controls whether the remote can interact with the light.
- If the remote isn’t working:
- Press Enter, then use Up/Down to switch between On/Off.
11. LED Display Mode
- Enables or disables the LED display on the back of the light.
12. Firmware Version
- Displays the current firmware version of the light.
Additional Features
DMX In/Out Ports (Daisy-Chaining Lights)
- The DMX Out port allows you to connect multiple lights in a series using DMX cables.
- Connect the DMX Out of the first light to the DMX In of the next light to control multiple units from one DMX source.
Power In/Out Ports (Daisy-Chaining Power)
- The Power Out port allows multiple lights to share power.
- Plug the included power cable into the Power In port to charge the battery-powered unit.
Battery Level Indicator
- Displays remaining battery life on top of the light.
Wireless DMX Grouping
- Assigns lights to different wireless DMX groups.
- Press the Wireless DMX Group Button to cycle between color-coded groups:
- Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Purple, Cyan, and White
